The Waiting Silence

In silence.

In the waiting silence.

In the daily waiting silence.

Attentive and with inner smile,

Mindfully they sit,

as though

their lives

depend on it;

Because they do.

The silence,

waiting watching non-judging smiling silence.

It works on them.

Stripping away social-self.

gently dethroning ego-self.

Opening the way

for true-self’s yearning emergence.

In silence they sit and

watch the new begin

It always does.
